Raspberry Praline Goat Cheese

Since EVERYONE and their momma has been asking about this combo, I thought I’d share it!

Perfectly sweet and salty, these Praline Raspberry Logs are the perfect addition to your March Madness spreads. Easy to make and even easier to devour!

For this combo I used raspberry, but any fruit spread will do. I imagine strawberry jam wound be a wonderful swap! Goat cheese, or chèvre, logs are easy to roll and coat with all kinds of goodness. The consistency also gives you a smooth spread that evenly glides on crackers, chips and, in my case, bagels! I opted for premade Pralines from Costco to cut down on time. I’m often making these logs for elaborate grazing tables with many elements, so saving time without compromising quality is definitely a priority! I finish the log off with garnishes of fresh fruit and mint. I went with blueberries today, but I absolutely LOVE adding blackberries. They offer the perfect amount of tang to contract the sweetness of the raspberry jam.

Let’s get to it!

Step 1

Chop pralines in food processor. If you don’t have a food processor, a Ziploc bag and a mallet will do! Spread the chopped nuts over a plate, reserving about 1/4.

Step 2

Roll your goat cheese back and forth over the chopped pralines. I like to pat and press the log into the pralines to ensure an even coat.

Step 3

Add the reserved chopped pralines to your desired serving dish. Place your praline-crusted goat cheese log on the dish. Drizzle fruit spread of choice on top. I highly recommend raspberry or strawberry jam/spread.

Step 4

Finally, garnish your log with fresh fruit and mint or rosemary sprigs.

And there you have it! A quick and easy appetizer for game day, girls night and everything in between.
